Meet Robert Visser
The Heart and Vision Behind Visser Homes​​​​​​
Robert, the founder of Visser Homes, is a third-generation builder dedicated to honoring a legacy of quality, integrity, and commitment to craftsmanship.
Robert grew up in Upper hutt and has lived in Wellington region his whole adult life. In Robert's spare time you may find him out Hunting, fishing, riding dirtbikes or simply just lazing around home with his wife, two Dogs and two cats. Growing up Robert's father ran and still does run a building company. He would spend weekends and school holidays on the tools where he found his passion for the industry. Doing his apprenticeship with his father meant he received excellent teachings on not only how to be a great carpenter but how to run a business.

Robert doesn't just construct houses and do renovations; He creates personalized experiences. From the initial consultation to the final walk-through, Robert works closely with each client to understand their unique needs, preferences, and aspirations. Robert believes in collaborating with clients throughout the entire process. By discussing dreams, essential features, and budgets, the team ensures that every project results in a space that is truly one-of-a-kind. Beyond building homes, Robert values the relationships formed with clients, suppliers, and the local community. Together, they create something extraordinary, recognizing that it’s about more than the finished product—it's about the journey and the people involved.

Meet Jase Cheung
Administrator and Co-Owner at Visser Homes
Descending from the vibrant city of Hong Kong, Jase moved to New Zealand in 2019 with a passion for adventure and a vision to create something meaningful. Jase plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations of Visser Homes. She is skilled in managing marketing initiatives, organising schedules, and providing creative design input to support client projects. Her ability to multitask and stay organised ensures every project is handled with precision and care. Clients benefit from her professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to helping them with their building aspirations.
Outside of work, Jase is an avid hiker, yoga enthusiast, and holistic healer, Her love for nature and wellness seamlessly complements her role at Visser Homes. Jase’s energy and commitment shine through.
Jase’s role as both a wife and business partner to Robert is one of mutual respect and collaboration. Together, they form a dynamic, innovative team, working side by side to help their clients bring their dream projects to life.
